Neon Rodeo invites you to step inside a luminous journey of creation, identity, and unyielding resilience through the visionary eyes of Chris Tobas. An Austin-based multidisciplinary artist, Chris channels his Afro-Latino heritage, weaving it seamlessly with the rugged soul of Western iconography. New large-scale works, custom mirrors, and an original soundtrack streaming from Tobas’s own station work together to illuminate a reimagined, neon-lit Texas that is both deeply personal and universally bold. Neon Rodeo is a tribute to the makers, the movers, the fearless style-shapers who ride bright and ride true—refusing to dim their light or conform.
