On and On is Austin-based fine artist and woodworker Aaron Michalovic’s meditation on time—how materials, stories, and craftsmanship endure through repetition, ritual, and reinvention. Raised in Maine, Aaron draws from the colors and textures of the natural world, shaped by a love for process-evident building and the handmade. For over a decade, he has gathered reclaimed wood from neighborhood homes—discarded fragments steeped in history and possibility. With meticulous hand tool techniques and an eye for the smallest, most telling details, he transforms what was once forgotten into works that honor both tradition and transformation.
